Owner/Rider: Rob Giard
Crew Chief: Tim Sinclair
Crew: Ross Woofenden, Rich Provencial & Mark Begin

Rob Giard got his start in drag racing behind the wheel of a Chevrolet 327 ci powered VW which sat on Chevy frame rails. A love for the unusual brought him to his last four wheeler a small block Chevrolet in an old BB/Alcohol Funny Car chassis running in a class know as Econo Altered. Once he threw his leg over a motorcycle though, Rob decided it would be more exciting on two wheels.

In 1978 Rob built a Kawasaki Z-1 900 that he ran locally in various brackets and added a turbocharger to the bike in 1979. From there he moved on to Top Gas where he gained the knowledge he uses today in Funny Bike. When the IHRA Motorcycle Division was formed Rob competed in Pro Comp. He then moved on to an Alcohol Turbo Funny Bike in Prostar competition when the class was separated from the Top Fuel division. In the years since he has rarely been out of the Top 10 in points and was the Prostar Funny Bike National #1 in 2001. In his own words "The hunger for going from point A to point B quickly never ends."
