The Hogan Team
in 2003 qualifier number one at two races (Richmond and the World
Finals) and finished 4th in Funnybike in our first year of competition.
Hogan Team Racing has been drag racing
for the past 4 years. H.T.R. consists of rider Korry Hogan, his
father Dennis and Sister Kerry. Dennis Hogan has experience riding
a Nitro Harley while Kerry previously held the World Record for
the World's Fastest and Quickest Electric Motorcycle.
Korry began riding motorcycles at the
age of 10 on a KX80. At 17 he was on the street and revisited dirt
bike racing when in college. A bad crash and shoulder surgery put
an end to his off-road racing endeavors and Korry and family took
up motorcycle drag racing. After four years of bracket racing with
a 9.70 best Korry decided to step up to the pro ranks and purchased
his current motorcycle from Wendal Doudhat in 2002. While making
his first passes on the bike, Korry earned the distinction of being
the first 6 second motorcycle in Colorado with a 6.97 elapsed time
at 197 mph in October of 2002 at Bandimere Speedway. 2003 is Korry's
rookie season in AMA/Prostar Funnybike competition. |
